Lets not go crazy just yet. The trailer was awesome but lets get our hands on some gameplay first.

I am not worried because if the gameplay is anything like Human Revolution then we are in for a treat.

Yeah this is one of those games that unless they do something really stupid with the formula, it'll pretty much be great.

The only thing we have yet to determine is how great.

This is true bit we will want more than what we had last time, and not just better looking. We will want more realistic stealth mechanics, more options, bigger world and story etc.

It's just how we are, or it will be average.

The game is already awesome because the CGI trailer is awesome? Seems legit

and because "stuff happened"

As much as I enjoy seeing people getting excited about the things they love, this is a really bad article. No reason given is factual; they are all arbitrary and give nothing to explain why the next game will be good.

Yes it is labelled as an opinion article, but the opinions are not justified given the lack of knowledge the public know about the game.

Thanks for the constro-crit, I don't get enough of that.

First of all, right off the bat, I'd like to make note that the title of this post was 'Why I personally think the announcement of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is Awesome' but it was shortened to it's existing title as it was just way too long.

Secondly, I 100% agree about the justification of opinions (You should talk to some of my friends. They still can't explain why they like the Water Temple). That's why I did research on the previous games (Plus Dishonored) before I made the post. When we don't have enough information about a game to generate an opinion we look towards other sources. I noted that we were getting a lot of the same developers, actors and even composers from previous successful games onto this project which is why I ended up creating this post.

I am sorry for any confusion that has stemmed from my lack of explanation there and hope it won't happen again. Like you said, I can't give directly factual reasons for my opinion because the public know so little about this game. The best I can do is look to the past to predict the future (Man, I hope I never have to say that again or there won't even be a present for me...)
