Under the umbrella of the Gaming Evolved program, AMD and Eidos-Montréal have been collaborating on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and the game will feature Microsoft’s DirectX 12 support as well as AMD’s TressFX.
Will it have windows10 cross play and streaming , cause if so am in .
itd be a s***** reason to not be in just for the lack of crossplay
I don't even care I just can't wait to see the glorious pc version! If xbox is lead platform so help me god.. I will buy it with tears. Hope dx12 pcs are lead platform. This game is to awsome to be true next generation experience. It's cyberpunk..
"If xbox is lead platform so help me god.." I wouldnt worry about that. if DX12 based PCs are the lead platform then X1 will benefit from that. Ill be buying this for PC though. Its a single player game so its not like I need my XBL friends to play it.I DO hope that I can buy it via W10 store and have the achievements added to my X1 gamerscore though, As I hear that they will be unifying that kind of stuff.
I never asked for this
Well that's good news. DX12 adoption is faster than I thought it'd be.
I think most devs will adopt right away. Getting close to the metal PC performance with one day extra dev time to port to XB1 is a Win/Win situation, pun intended.
I agree. Plus it allows for better utilization of middleware like TressFX and others.
Kinda meh about the TressFX part, but DX12 support is not that surprising. If it really does improve the performance drastically, then it's a no-brainer.
I'm interested to see TressFX in action. As for DX12 its a Mantle imitation. http://www.extremetech.com/...
Been hearing more and more people in the industry being on board with DX12. This fall and 2016 will be interesting
I can't wait to see Pitchford's greasy mane in TressFX
Agreed! I'm glad that a game is coming that will fully utilize my AMD GPU. Been getting irritated with all the gameworks/hairworks games that have been coming out. I think the last game I played that used tressfx was tomb raider. This will be sweet!
splendid! I can't wait to see the some full gameplay demo of this on E3 this year. As a matter of fact I was blown away by the trailer of this game.
