Take a look at the graphic settings for GTA 5 PC. Rockstar Games also revealed new screenshots in gorgeous 4K-Resolution.
it has population density and population variety options. this is cool.
Do I need more then 2gb of VRAM to max if I'm playing 1080?
Edit: I thought the screenshots I posted were at 1080p. My bad.
No, this is for 4K resolution. Recommended specs are a 2GB GPU so you will be fine for 1080p 60fps. Don't listen to the two above who have no clue what they are saying lol!
They aren't even using 3gb at 4k very high settings, you will be fine with 2gb at 1080p.
2gb will be enough for high-very high settings 1080p 60fps. make sure you have gpu like r9 280x or gtx 960 just don't use more than 4x msaa
Maybe, if you look at the screenshots textures are set to normal, so I would like know how much VRAM max uses
Check the recommended specs. They are for 1080p at 60 fps confirmed.
From the recommended specs and from the pics I saw The optimization is superb. What's your gpu?
I don't know what you mean. At what setting? With what features turned on or off? You could do 1080p...on almost any modern GPU. Depends on what quality you want. You must be a bit more specific. To max out this game, you would most definitely need a very beast gpu.
4gb is for 1440p and 4k, you are good with 2 gb for 1080p
https://farm9.staticflickr.... Video Memory: 2676 / 6143 MB GTX 960/760 might struggle with high quality assets, shadows etc at 1080p/60fps.
I hope not, I got Asus strix Gtx970:/
Disregard what I said, the screenshot is down-scaled from 4k, it's not 1080p.
You'll be fine, even though i have two of the same cards as yourself, i ran Shadow of Mordor at full settings(with extra texture pack) at 4k around 45-50 fps on a single card before Nvid released the SLI profile. Pretty sure the card will handle anything you throw at it with a 1080p res.
You do know that the resolution in game for these pics is 4K right?
*at 4k very high settings. I don't think people with 760 got 4k screens, and if they do, they didn't think much before buying one.
Probably not, but NVIDIA does have Dynamic Super Resolution technology now, so even without a 4K screen you can play games in 4K.
vram usage is for 4k and i m pretty sure a gtx 960 and 760 can handle high settings at 1080p as gtx 980 sli can play at 4k 60fps max. pcgamer pc has gtx 980 sli
bit confused by some of theses pics? why does it say he has MSAA on aswell as FXAA and TXAA? surely its one or the other.
You can enable MSAA in combination with FXAA, other games have done it before like Alan Wake and Max Payne 3 on the PC. Forza Horizon on the Xbox 360 used MSAA and FXAA as well. FXAA is a shader-based anti-aliasing method similar to edge detection, while MSAA is ROP based. http://www.dahlsys.com/misc...
with the settings pics, there are some fancy in game pics too. is there a photo mode?
There even is a complex video editor.
did anybody noticed rockstar barely talked about the video editor?
The did quite a bit here... http://www.gamespot.com/art...
First thing I'm going to do is put all settings on max. My computer will then turn into a molten puddle of metal. Then I'll go back to settings and turn them down.
The excitement builds!! Question will cheats be phone entered or what?
I see, this game requires a bloody expensive PC to run. Even the memory requirements is insane, might as well just play this at mid to low settings at 720p
