Thanks a lot for this information, it is very useful.
And the bosses are easier when you stay up close and behind most of the time , just don't try that with the hunters.
Sometimes running gets you further quicker than fighting , so endurance is a good spend.
Remember to dance.
When I encounter a tough enemy for the first time I usually hold off attacking, but rather lock on and just dance with them, testing out things like their range and speed, and counting how many hits in their combo before they have an opening.
Also the guns are meant to be used as defense, but if your foe has just a tiny bit of health left why risk getting in close, just finish them off with a cheeky little quicksilver bullet.
If you're still early in the game and either having trouble or just not having much fun, quit out and start a new character (game supports multiple saves) and then choose another starting weapon. The weapons are all quite diffent in terms of move sets, power and speed so its likely the one you chose does not suit your play style at all.
One last little thing, I truly suck at souls games but I've been able to kill every boss so far within 5 tries, so if they seem impossible at first dont give up. Remember to dance!
