Second Opinion: Child of Light

I was under the impression that it became free sometime around the 15th... I hope I'm wrong, 'cos I've been looking forward to playing Child of Light for a while.

Microsoft have been killing it with the XboxGold giveaways... The Fast and the Furious Forza, Brothers: a tale of two sons, Rayman Legends, Assassin's creed: Black Flag, Tomb Raider, etc.
Also, we get twice as many games this month, which is pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Shame, you're missing out on a good game! If you don't enjoy RPG's then I can understand why you don't like it, though. Still for free I'd recommend giving it another shot.

It's one of the few ports Ubisoft did right on the Wii U, so i gave it an actual prchase a while back.
I don't understand why people wait for these games to become free (or so dirt cheap that they might as well be free) before getting them...

Well, they should. Indies are doing a better job of making solid new experiences than most AAA third parties are, lately.

Well for me it's because it's not my cup of tea. I'll play it now that I got it for free but I wouldn't willingly spend money on it. Same goes with some of the games on PS+

I agree. I first played it on the Wii U and loved it. But you couldn't get the DLC on the Wii U, which is a real shame.

Out of all the games with gold released, this one easily has the most game time for me!

Far from being a good RPG. Just because there aren't many RPGs releasing recently it doesn't mean this one is good. I'd rather replay some SNES or PS1 gem.
