Unfortunately never got to play it as never got released outside of the US. So cannot add to the list purely for that reason. I important Chrono Cross and still own my imported copy to this date. Isn't Xenosaga series sequels to Zenogears although not direct sequels but by the same people just not under square?

All of the Xeno games, which include the all of the Xenosaga's and Xenoblade's are spiritual successors from each other.

Beyond that most of those games have had sequels on later console generations or on handhelds.

Some sequels are planned for a few of those games as well. Or at least one of those JRPG franchises and stuff.

Have to say that because of the current state of the industry, because they'd be remade to "appeal to a wider audience", be over the shoulder third person and be focused on graphical detail rather than world and combat mechanics, probably be about delivering a social message in regards to sexism and/or violence, no to all of them.

There needs to be a NEW Vagrant Story.

A sequel to Suikoden

A new Vagrant Story that takes cues from part one and not two or the more recent one.

Definitely Parasite Eve, that is such an awesome game. It's a shame that Square has been ignoring that IP for the new consoles.
