ABC News: From Software demands much of its players, including an obsessive level of patience. The studio has built an impressive cult audience for its brand of abuse, but if you're the type of person who plays a game to relax and unwind, "Bloodborne" is not for you. I admire its uncompromising vision — but I don't particularly like it.
The Souls-like genre remains popular, along with FromSoftware's classics there are many contenders. But which are the best Souls-like games?
Hmm... In my opinion, the 7 best are the 6 made by FromSoftware (DeS, DS1, DS2, DS3, BB and ER), then Lies of P. But each to their own.
Saad from eXputer: "Almost a decade later, it's time to take the nostalgia goggles off and accept that Bloodborne has long been surpassed by its successors."
Yes, yes it does. It’s still a great game. Elden Ring isn’t better just different and a bit easier . I like that you have to be aggressive but smart in Bloodborne
"Sony is missing out on a hugely profitable opportunity by ignoring fan demands for a Bloodborne remaster and PC port," says Ahmed from eXputer.
Bloodborne came out on the PS4. It is owned by From Software. What missed opportunity? I am sure the people at From Software know what they are doing. Especially since they are hiring devs instead of laying them off.
Maybe do an article about that instead of writing a hit piece on them acting like they don't know how to run their business.
It will be a launch title on PS6 just like the remake of Demon's Souls for PS5 launch
Lol ABC News is reviewing games now. What a pathetic clickbait..
I am pretty sure they saw that this game is getting praised everywhere so the reviewer decided to give a low score to grab attention. He clearly didn't get past the Cleric Beast.
they aren't on metacritic are they cuz that's just pathetic
Uh oh, some one gave a widely loved game a negative review. We better crucify this author....its only logical.
Good example of a review by someone outside the games demographic feeling entitled to accomplishment. It's like reviewing a Kirby game and deducting points for Kirby being in it and it's childishness.
No offense to ABC but reviews of any product should be based on products merits to the intended consumer. This is like a man reviewing feminine wash.
ABC News? Lol Who's next? FOX News? CNN?
@Aither
Who the hell said I was complaining? I was just pointing out these whack websites people are pulling reviews from.
