Nika Howard from Geekly Inc. says, "What do you do when you find yourself living in a world where terrifying monsters the size of buildings want to have you for dinner? Well, if you play NOCT, you can find out. Set in an apocalyptic wasteland, NOCT, is a great indie game from the mind of Chris Eskins and one that I was pumped to try at the Devolver Digital booth at PAX East. Well, if you play NOCT, you can find out."
Stephanie Watson writes: "Video games may not be the only culprit of this offensive trope, but they have always been especially guilty. It's pretty difficult to name games that don't use the “mental illness is scary” trope, even though it's so easy to scare your player without it.
