Jesus really? Damn I didn't know Assetto Corsa was that popular. Now that I look at the sales numbers and the sheer about of mods for the PC version I guess I can see it now.

There´re more racing simulators fans out there than most racing games studios acknowledges.
Wish AC1 was at least one X enhanced but it's only sold a lot because of its price
... and the time it was/is released. Obviously, the newer games look better,due to better specs, and perhaps some differences in lighting/time of day, etc etc.
To be honest though, most 'real life' tracks are pretty boring to me, and I prefer fictional tracks which are designed specifically to be as fun and gorgeous as possible to race on.
In Forza, I thought tracks like Maple Valley and Burnese Alps and other fictional tracks were much more interesting than the real life ones.
Project cars audio is just in a different league!
Nice Assetto and Project cars are my next pc games will wait for next steam sale though.
I have to say, they did a bloody good job at porting the track for Forza 5, both the vegetation and track surface are top notch.
