Always had the story of AC as the glue that held me to the series this long. Judging by early impressions this game was the one I should have played instead of that UNITY nonsense that was a technical mess for me on PC. The story was also a snooze fest. On top of it not having anything substantial in terms of present day events.

The gameplay and character of this game looked much more interesting. And shamefully I think I might purchase it seeing as how it's not a rip off with these nonsense micro transactions. As well as looking technically polished (by Ubisoft standards at least). Oh and the gameplay in this one is more of my cup of tea as well (Black Flag kinda).

Unity is a horrible game. But just watch through the opening sequence of that horrible game to enjoy this game a little better. And you should play ac3 before or after you play rogue for more cool shit.

The game is a carbon copy port of the Xbox 360 version assets wise. It does however have a much better lighting system
