With a long history of connecting with its fans simply by bringing a high quality product, Valve is looking to improve by opening the lines of communication with consumers.
I think that they've done very well for being essentially disconnected before now. Loads of great games.
I really hope more companies take this outlook and apply it. There's never anything wrong with learning something new, even if the company is the one educating you.
They have done well so far lets hope they keep it up.
