3 Free Months of Xbox Live Gold Added on Top of New Xbox One Halo Bundle by GameStop

Today Microsoft announced a spiffy Halo: The Master Chief Collection Xbox One bundle for $349.99.

Even if it’s not white like the one released in Japan, it’s definitely a nice offer, but if you want to get more bang for your buck, GameStop is piling one more bonus on top of it.

For the same price as the base console you are getting the Master Chief Collection and 3 months of Live. Not a bad deal for $349. The Assassins Creed bundle is also available for the same price.

TMCC was an outstanding value at launch with its 4 top rated FPS campaigns, easily dozens of hours of gameplay.

Now it's even better for new console buyers

Hail to the King baby

not at launch...

Now that its fixed, yes

The game was great at launch too. The multiplayer needed work, but it was still great value even if you completely ignored the MP.

"not at launch."

At launch i and many others enjoyed playing through the campaigns and now that the mp is working as it should have i think this deal is definitely worth it especially for those who have been waiting to get an xbox one with halo mcc.

Definitely a good deal. Wonder why they didn't put in the white console like in Japan, but still, it's a lot of value.

They missed out on an opportunity by not pricing it $343 my sense of humor would appreciate a price related easter egg

@kingdip90 -_- cool name

SoapShoes2759d ago

They don't sell the base console do they? That's the same price as the Unity bundle.

rdgneoz32759d ago

Except the Unity bundle comes with a broken game...

I've never played Halo before, and been waiting for a good deal to come along for an Xbox One when I got my taxes in.

That's great but not for me. Sure I'll buy the MCC but for now any urge to play old Halo can be satisfied by placing the disks in either my Xbox original or 360. How about info on something much more interesting MS - XBO Slim!

mhunterjr2759d ago

You must not be interested in playing those halo games online...
Halo1-4 servers are either non-existent or completely unpopulated... Meanwhile on MCC games can be found in minutes, and are in dedicated servers.

But yes Xbox slim would be very interesting

Xavior_Reigns2759d ago

I'm sure I'll upset some people regardless if they make it known or not. However no I'm not interested in playing them online. I simply want the collection for collector's purpose. I played the hell out of Halo 2, 3, and Reach when they originally released. With Halo 4 I didn't care because the game disappointed me a bit so I didn't bother with online. I'm much more interested in Halo 5 & the inevitable XBO slim.

LifeInNZ2759d ago

Cant wait for Halo ODST as I've never actually played that one. As for playing HMCC campaigns back to back, it really makes you appreciate just how solid they are. Even Halo 4 was great although the final showdown with the game's antagonist was a little weak.

crazychris41242759d ago

Would have gone with a custom bundle but I guess they are saving that for Halo 5.

christocolus2759d ago

there will definitely be a Halo 5 bundle and i'm certain its gonna sell like crazy.

KirbysDump2758d ago

I cant help feel that this bundle should have been released at launch. I think Microsoft pulled it when the game released broken
