PAX East 2015: 3 hours with Final Fantasy XV's Ferocious Combat

IGN - Non-Final Fantasy fans could fall for FFXV.

Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae gives us a brief glimpse of the possibility in Square Enix's eventual open world role-playing game, but the demo isn't just a simple sample of what's to come. Duscae is a deep, rewarding exploration of a gorgeous world, a group of friends, and Final Fantasy XV's complex and challenging combat.

The story is too old to be commented.

Man, Monster Hunter has come a long way eh?

But in all seriousness, I don't want to have to travel across the world for 15 minutes just for find my next fetch quest.

It looks gorgeous though!

You have a car and chocobos (well, not in the demo)

Yeah, but still. I just don't think it's fun to travel to a faraway land just to do a small quest. It's why I gave up on Elder Scrolls and many other "open world" games.

Looks good. Wish this game wasn't open world because some of the graphics look great and other parts just don't look polished. I doubt these will be fixed to the fullest in the final game. The world is just too big noway they can make it look as good as a linear game.

The game is far from finished and the full Luminous Engine hasn't been implemented yet. Tabata said that the game will look much better than it does now when the full game releases.
