A List Of Times Hideo Kojima Said He's Done With Metal Gear

In an interview published yesterday, Hideo Kojima said the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain would be his last Metal Gear game.

I thought that sounded familiar, so I did some researching. Turns out... well, let's take a look.

I would love if Kojima went on and created something new. I mean, give us Zone of Enders 3 first lol, but seriously he's been doing nothing but MGS for to long, it's time to hang the cape up and create more master pieces outside of the MGS world

Well, Silent Hills is new for him so its a nice change of pace. And i am pretty sure Zone Of The Enders 3 will be made one day.

In a sit down with the Resident Evil/Evil Within creator, Kojima said that if there's ever something that he ever finds way to scary means that its perfect for the game. From what was shown from P.T., Silent Hills isn't going to be a tension-to-jump-scare game. It's going to make people feel fear.

I don't care what people says, i want Metal Gears made by Kojima as long as possible. Its really a great franchise.

Last good one was MGS2, so he was sort of right back then. I realize MGS3 is popular but I prefer MGS inside not outside, with Solid Snake, and a fixed caera with emphasis on stealth.

Don't give me that "You could always run & gun, its always been an option." Anyone playing MGS1 like that just sucked and didn't play right. It's "Tactical Espionage Action" not ""Stallone in Rambo Gear."

Anyways he keeps saying that but I don't believe he will stop as long as there is a demand for games like that.
