The world it constructs is charmingly odd, its mechanics well-designed (though absent of much polish), and writing sharp as hell. The concept is feels ripe for a fresh blend of puzzle-solving, platforming, and LA Noire-like investigations. All the pieces are there and I’m ready to dig in. Then the frustration sets in—crippling frustration brought about by a halt in progress. Hot Tin Roof lacks flow.
