Qore is just an online magazine, nothing more. A side by side comparison of XBL, PSN, & Qore

no betas? no exclusive content?

sh*t, i payed 2.99$ to get into the socom beta, i think its a lil more than an online magazine.

rbanke6196d ago

would it be any different than a computer mag giving you a demo on a disc and you buying the mag simply for the demo?

PoSTedUP6196d ago (Edited 6196d ago )

sort of but not really considering its alot cheaper and you get more than just a demo (alot more) and its 15$ a YEAR cause it comes with a free 10$ game and you get all this info B4 any one else and its cooler cause its a virtual mag and its exclusive information about the ps3 and you get into better demos* IMO because to me the socom demo* is the best deal in the world and to alot of people cause that franchise is 10.5 million strong and i cant wait for all the OTHER betas and exclusive content for only 15$ a year : )

Silogon6195d ago

If you paid 2.99 to get into Socom beta you're going to be disappointed. You only got into the beta if you were stupid enough to pay for the full year, which you weren't it seems.

You should be happy they only took you of your 3 bucks and dignity.

PoSTedUP6195d ago

ummm no, the first episode comes with the socom beta. peace.

$3 is super cheap to get into a beta.

Plus, you can always figure out what the qore content is and decide your purchases based on that.

i don't see too many people complaning about it either, since it's didn't affect them at ALL! Unlike people Who complained before it even came out. .

I'm glad someone wrote an article like this, pretty much puts 360 in it's place and separates the two.

Queefy B6195d ago

You get demos first with Qore and the rest have to wait. It is holding back content all PS3 owners should have access to and used to have access to on day one instead of having to wait.

Chubear6195d ago (Edited 6195d ago )

It comes out once a month with one demo and quite honestly Naturo isn't a demo I'd say I give a toss about

PSN has weekly content ranging from 1-3 demos almost every week. That argument doesn't even make a lick of sense. It's a gaming magazine doing what gaming mags do. It is not the first gaming mag in history to have demo content. It doesn't keep demos away from you, it doesn't stop you from playing online, it doesn't stop your weekly updates and DLs.

It's just and E-mag service that only the PS3 has this type of service for it's fanbase and instead of praising Sony for giving a choice of services that no other console does for it's fanbase, people try to use it as a negative on the PS3's part.. yet again.

Look at the chart, it says it all. If gamers want to foolishly think an E-magazine, not own by Sony, is somehow the equivalent of Live gold subscription then that's their stupid issue.

Morgan Douglas Jones6195d ago

Um wrong. They have exclusive demos, exclusive video footage, exclusive beta invites, and etc. Just another stupid anti-PS3 article the week before E3 because 360 fanboy websites like this one are crapping their pants in fear, due to Sony's upcoming press conference on Tuesday. Publishing moronic articles like this one won't stop Sony from attending E3 you know.

Cryos6195d ago

did you read the article? maybe you should. it's not anti-ps3

xhairs96195d ago

Lol, I think he was commenting on the wrong article? hahaha

Pedobear6195d ago

I dont see a point in buying it. Im pretty sure you can see them on youtube anyway.

Project: Horned Owl Review

From the mid-1980s to the early part of the 2000s, light gun rail shooters were a staple in both arcade and home system gaming. Arguably, the genre started to really hit its stride in the mid-1990s. While games like Time Crisis, Virtual Cop, and House of the Dead, among others, dominated both the home system and arcade space, some one relegated to only home game systems. Today, we’ll be talking about a little-known cult game published by Sony called Project: Horned Owl. This game was developed by Alfa Systems, and all in all, this is a fun game.

The score for the first Plants Vs Zombies is such great, iconic music that it has a timeless quality. Not quite the level of Minecraft, but wonderful in its own right.
