From Gameplayer... "We're going to have to say this, so just bear with us for a second, and be aware that we mean it in the best possible sense. We don't want to indulge in any pointless console wars, and we certainly don't want to be tarred with the inevitable fanboy brush.
Okay… deep breath. The PS3 is kinda broken.
When we say the PS3 is broken, we say it with the best of intentions, with a barely contained frustration towards a machine that, in its current state, will never fulfil its full potential.
We're talking of course about processing bottlenecks, and the PS3 has a tonne of them."
Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
It's a brave article, and the idea for a RAM expansion (if functional) would only make the PS3 even better for developers and gamers alike. :)
Now lets see if we can keep this debate civil... o_0
How exactly would this RAM expansion pack idea work???
"With the PS3 already struggling to compete with the Xbox 360" ?Que que? o_O
I'm done wasting my time seeing how I am more knowledgable about tech than these 'gaming journalist'? How would you expand ram when the mother board is not SLI? Wait better question, how is teh other 256 mb not being used for parallax mapping, shadding, and pipelines which is what I've heard naughty dog, and guerrilla games studios were able to do. Make it limited?
512mb of video ram is better than 256mb video ram.
ask any pc enthusiast.
and no way can the ps3 run a game like crysis.
ps3 cant handle textures. every game on the ps3 has major texture downgrades.
crysis needs atlest 512mb of ram to run (minimum requirement), so NO CRYSIS FOR PS3.
PROOF: CHECK MGS4'S TEXTURES(TOOK ABOUT 5 YEARS TO MAKE). VERY VERY SHOCKING.
This is basically false propaganda something a mindless fanboy, or a microsoft pr person would write. This is plain out utter garbage. If something like this was written about Microsoft I would explode like this.
