Life Is Strange Episode 2 Has Been Delayed

A Square Enix representative confirmed that Life Is Strange episode 2 has been delayed until further notice. Dontnod Entertainment originally planned to have each episode released six weeks apart and this certainly doesn't fall under their plan.

me, the first episode was pretty stunning and left me wanting for more, but its not like we wont be busy with FF Type-0, Hotline Miami 2, Jamestown+, Axiom Verge and Bloodborne anyway, so i guess i can still wait a little longer(even if im still kinda "hella" sad about the delay)

There's good and bad. The bad is that at anytime, they can stop, or delay for whatever reason. Good is that they can delay something and make it better, or add or change based on feedback.

Early access is good like that too. I see Sony may get into it with the PS4. But, my only issue is the price to basically playtest. They used to pay us to do that. Now, we pay them. I understand that $60 isn't what it used to be, many games can't justify $60, and the cost of making a game can be quite high.

I just wonder if early access is another way, like dlc, to add to the final number. They are getting quite ingenious these days.

I'd almost prefer to pay $80 for a game, and just be more selective in what I play. Soo, I am almost sure, things will move towards subscription fees. Pay Sony $20 month to play whatever you want.

people aren't going to skip episodes, worst case scenario they buy the first and don't buy the rest, they won't skip the first.
