But aren't we all? Yes, yes, Steam is a pretty decent online store. At least Smash Bros. creator, Masahiro Sakurai, thinks so. Maybe he could, you know, make a game to sell there.
"It's become mandatory that each platform has its own built-in [digital] shop." Sakurai reflected in his semi-weekly column in Weekly Famitsu. "So among those, which online shop is superior and offers the most incentive to buy from it? I would answer, 'Steam.'"
Duuro says: "I think the idea behind the movement is cool, but on the other hand, the execution and clear limitation of the platform somewhat undermine the whole thing."
"The Wakefield-based (the UK) indie games publisher and developer Team 17 and indie games developer Ernestas Norvaišas, are today very proud and excited to announce that the full version (v1.0) of their train-led city builder “Sweet Transit”, is now available for PC via Steam and EGS." - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Disney Dreamlight Valley devs have officially teased the second part of the paid expansion titled The Spark of Imagination.
I'm not atm.
Waiting 19 days & counting for a simple ass password reset.
I think Nintendo and Steam should team up.
Steam Machines get more living room clout, Ninty gets a new audience... okay, wait, perhaps I need a coffee. Disregard.
OT: More Japanese developers are seeing Steam as a great way of tapping back into a worldwide/western audience with minimum expense, and that's awesome.
Wow great thought! I would love to watch those 2 with unorthodox styles combine and flourish.
Also competition with MSony would be great for gamers.
Love how JP is appreciating PC, hope to see more games on the platform. I never thought I would see the day when Valkyria Chronicles, MGS and FFXIII come to PC
Steam should be the prototype that all the digital distributors strive to be. Steam always adds great new features such as GameStream, Family Sharing, Game Recording, etc. Valve keeps making Steam better and better without a subscription fee! It almost turns the consoles theology on its head.
Valve makes Steam better and better because they genuinely care. They dont do it to extend Hype or sell Consoles. Valve is truly the best at what they do.
