PS4 exclusive The Order: 1886 number one in UK chart

Sony's PlayStation 4 exclusive The Order entered the UK all-formats chart in first place.

Sony's previous UK number one was Naughty Dog's The Last of Us: Remastered, which came out for PS4 in August 2014.

The release of Ready at Dawn's The Order beats out Activision's Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which is second. Last week's number one, Turtle Rock's Evolve, falls to third.

Good news for Sony and RAD! This game is a solid 7.5 or 8/10 for what I've played so far and I can't wait to hear they will make a sequel because I'm more than sure RAD will make an awesome game with the experience and criticism they've gained from this game.

Yes, I haven't completed The Order yet, but on what i have played so far I would give it a 7.8 out of 10, and well worth the money for me. The first hour was really slow and I actually chuckled at how bad it was....but after that the game picked up and I find the weapons and gunfights quite satisfying, and the story has me eager to see how it all ends, especially given how the game started with a scene showing the main character in quite the predicament that has yet to happen in game. It's pretty awesome. The only "problems" I have with the game are some pacing issues, not enough collectibles in my opinion, and it is extremely linear and the enemies, especially the human ones, are mindless. But despite these shortcomings, I'm having a great time with the game and definitely look forward to the inevitable sequel, in which I'm sure Ready at Dawn will take the criticisms and improve on every aspect where the game is a bit weak this time around. And please, please....let us see more on the backstory of these characters, particularly Galahad and Igraine...I'm dying to know more about their lives before The Order, their training, how they met, etc. etc. etc. We get very little of that in the game.

well deserved, its a great game for people that like a good cinematic and single player experience, like heavy rain and beyond two souls but with a lot more involvement.

Exactly, I just want them to sell enough to ensure a sequel. That's all I care about.

do you even know how easy it is for a game to top the chart in UK ? just because its topped the chart doesn't mean its sold well. it could have sold 80 copies and the other games less than 80 and it would be the same chart positions. personally as a PS4 owner i hope it flops. we don't need more short, boring, qte filled games with no replay value. i watched the whole game on YouTube and saved myself money. i got the same experience as people who paid for it as theres not much actual gameplay anyway and the gameplay there is very mediocre.

This game deserves to be recognized for it's quality.

I just wish it was longer. The gameplay is pretty good and i'm going to do a playthrough on hard difficulty later.
