Eurogamer:
Eagle-eyed gamers have spotted a listing for Darksiders 2: Definitive Edition on PlayStation 4.
Darksiders publisher Nordic Games has yet to officially announce the new version, and today told Eurogamer that it couldn't comment further at this time.
But other PS4 versions of Nordic properties have also been spotted - including Legend of Kay HD, Arcania - The Complete Tale, MX vs ATV: Supercross Encore Edition and The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (the latter of which is also listed for Xbox One).
Neil writes: "After holding tight and saving every spare penny since the Xmas sales, chances are you've worked up enough of a sweat to ensure that it's time to look in to the purchase of a new Xbox game or two. And with the latest Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 28th Jan - 3rd Feb 2020, you'll be able to get access to all manner of cut-price Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles, boosting your digital library in the process."
"Vigil Games may not be around anymore but their 2 Darksiders games really raised the bar for 3D action adventure games. Let's take a look at both titles' gameplay and worlds and see which one emerges victorious." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
Darksiders 1 is a complete game but it’s obvious with Darksiders 2 they ran out of budget after the Ice world and the game just becomes a poorly paced mess.
The release date has been revealed for The Art of Darksiders II Hardcover Edition.
Some strange choices for current gen remasters out there, with some less popular games such as this and Sleeping Dogs being given the 'definitive' treatment. That's not a bad thing, but it does make me wish games such as Red Dead Redemption, SSX, Wipeout HD and the Uncharted games would see rereleases as well.
As old as it is, I'd be overjoyed to see Burnout Paradise rereleased as well.
Oh please be run please also include darksieders1. But I would buy it even if it's only darksieders 2 and take my time with it
such an under rated game with awesome bosses. Here is hoping this also means that a future darksiders is in works. I always thought sony should have bought it back than and handed it to Sony Santa Monica
But can't wait hopefully we will get some news
What's the point? DS2 looked awesome. It's only 3 years old.
Why waste time and resources on a re-master when they could be spending that time and money on making Darksiders 3?
I will never understand...
I've heard the collectable mechanics in this game are awful and time consuming which is what's deterred me from playing it before. If this remastered edition has some sort of device that helps you find them in the game, I might pick it up.
Does it really need a remaster though? Why not just make a next gen Darksiders game with crazy good visuals.
Please be true, & give us the soundtrack including Tree of Life Music!
