A couple of weeks ago, I got the chance to spend some time with Xbox One State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition. It's a zombie game, but before you start groaning about yet another z-game, hear me out. This isn't like most of them. While State of Decay does feature combat, and reanimated corpses do provide an ever-present threat, it's not an action game where you're killing thousands upon thousands of the undead with outlandish weapons and ungodly skills. This is a more realistic take on the genre where the objective is to survive and even thrive by building a community in the game's post-apocalyptic environment.
Amazon has heavily discounted several Microsoft-published Xbox One digital games, including Gears of War 4 for $29.99, Halo Wars 2 for $39.99, Ori and the Blind Forest to $11.99, ReCore for $19.99, State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition to $12.00 and Sunset Overdrive to $12.00.
Several survival horror games on PS4 and Xbox One have been discounted with Dead Rising 4 dropping to $41.20, Dying Light: The Following - Enhanced Edition to $29.90, Until Dawn: Rush of Blood to $9.99 and more.
Several digital Xbox One games have been heavily discounted with Lego Jurassic World dropping to $11.99, Mad Max to $11.99, Rare Replay to $12.00 and State of Decay Year-One Survival Edition to $15.00.
