Cosmochoria: Beta Preview | Should You Play This Game?

An objective look at the early access beta of Cosmochoria and some personal thoughts. "I like the game, but it feels rather repetitive after playing for a while and it could use some rebalancing. You spend most of your time going from planet to planet planting seeds and other things, while killing minor enemies that aren’t much of a challenge. After doing this you will cause a boss to appear, which is new and refreshing from what you’ve been doing. The biggest thing that causes it to feel repetitive is the fact that you will be replaying the game fairly often because of having to restart after dying."

A lone, buck-naked cosmonaut twirls freely through a cartoon universe. He is gravity-less… pants-less… his body exposed to the icy cold of the cosmos. His trusty laser blaster and accompanying space helmet keeping him alive for just a little longer. Seemingly drifting for eons, he sees a galaxy out of the corner of his eye and thrusts his jetpack towards what seems like a miniature cartoon planet hanging delicately on the edge of space.
