Videogamer reports that according to Japanese video game website Famitsu, Capcom will be charging 1000 Wii Points for its all new, yet retro, WiiWare title Mega Man 9.
The game is scheduled for a September 2008 release and to our retro eyes looks likely to be great fun. Look out for more.
"Back in 2008, Capcom revived the original Mega Man franchise with a brand new 8-bit installment which itself received a sequel shortly after. So, let's explore these 2 retro revivals and see which one is worthier of its bolts." - A.J. Maciejewski from Video Chums
I would’ve preferred if they stuck with the 16/32-bit aesthetics
If Mega Man 9 had to be 8-bit, then Mega Man 10 should’ve been twice that to separate it from its predecessor
Like any franchise, there are entries in the mainline Mega Man series have proved better than others, either because of how much they did (or didn't) alter the gameplay design philosophy that made it legendary in the industry. Today, we've got every mainline entry in the series ranked from worst to best.
Neil writes: "Let's be honest - the Xbox Live Deals With Gold sale last week was a bit rubbish. Yeah there were a few titles worth taking a punt on but the vast majority saw non-appealing discounts and the lack of super cheap pocket money games was noticeable.
We can forget about all that now though as the Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale for 3rd-9th July 2018 is now in place and it is bringing a whole new range of discounts to both Xbox One and Xbox 360 players. Want to check out the full list of games on sale?"
Several of these games have been on GWG, Slime Rancher and Super Mega Baseball 2. Others are on Gamepass. There is an Anime sale going on with up to 75% off. Fifa 18 at just 15quid, although I'll wait until it's in the EA Access Vault and get it for free.
Honestly - how many people are going to pirate it? I don't know if the latest updated killed WiiWare piracy, but I don't think so.
For those who don't know: Groups have been releasing WiiWare and VC games for quite some time now.
I think 10 dollars might be alittle high i was thinking it would be 500-800(comparable to a nes or snes game). You could download a N64 game for the price but truth be told this will be a brand new game from the ground up so it might be worth it.
...and to your comment about piracy, let them do what they want it doesnt effect me.I wil buy mine because i have the money and i want to support what i buy.To each his own
Well I would of liked the 5 dollar price tag but hey this is a brand spankin new game so I suppose they can tax me if they want.
I'm in!
No-one was going to pay more for an 8-bit. I wish it was 16-bit =|
But it's going to be really fun.
