Midway just announced that it would be publishing Mechanic Master, a game designed by Most Wanted Entertainment that went by "Contraptions" before it was picked up by the publisher. Perusing the developer's website, IGN found that the company is working on another Nintendo DS title: "The Expendables."
This is a action tower defense game themed after the latest The Expendables 3 movie. Control Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas and other huge movie stars to shoot down the incoming waves of enemies. Build turrets and Gatling guns to help in reducing the the life of the enemies as they run along the path.
Ugh. I was really hoping for a more improved version of the arcade game Ubisoft made.
It was derivative and base, but it had potential. Better controls, more playable characters, some major bug fixes and better set-pieces and AI and it could have been something. This... goodness, this is jut not the Expendables at all.
