True to its name, The Escapists is a game centered around protagonists attempting to escape from prisons through various means. The concept is fairly simple although the execution becomes increasingly difficult as you progress through the game. At first glance the title does not seem to offer much in the way of intrigue, difficulty, or exploration, but as you spend more time playing, it becomes obvious that The Escapists is not nearly as simple as initially perceived and can be a very unforgiving game with many unforeseen aspects.
