"The 4v1 multiplayer title for the PC from BioWare has been given the axe."
Lots of video games get canceled due to studio closures, lack of resources, and other issues, but we would have loved to play these 10 canceled games.
Not only was P.T. an awesome demo, but just the way it was dropped on us and eventually revealed as Silent Hills was one of those really special moments in gaming. I don't even want to be reminded of it now.
I just want a Getaway 3. I mean Sony has nailed the cinematic, open world genre for a while now. A return to the Getaway with the tech they got now would be so good
Six Days in Fallujah was a game I would have been interested to see how it would have turned out. SOCOM like tactical shooter with destructive environments. Lots of work on it and then it was just scrapped.
In this article, we try to list eight cancelled games that looked the most promising. Before we start, if you haven’t already, be sure to read this list over cancelled games, too.
Mega Man Legends 3 is the one cancelled game that sucked the most for me. Blaming it on the fans was a real jerkish move, too.
Promising? Maybe they sounded good, but, for instance, Redwood Falls and Shadow Realms never saw the light of day because they weren't anything exceptional. The tragic ones are the ones like Star Wars 1313, which was cancelled because of Disney's buyout of Star Wars, or Insane, which was cancelled because THQ was going out of business. I can only guess that Agent, Eight Days, and Starcraft Ghosts never made it anywhere because they didn't live up to expectations. Maybe they weren't any good, maybe they were too ambitious, maybe the tech at the time couldn't support them . . . we simply don't know.
I was once excited for the Pirates of the Caribbean game, Armada of the Damned, but chances are it was cancelled because it wasn't living up to expectations, so there's really no point in being letdown by it.
Gamereactor looks back at some games that disappeared before they saw the light of day.
Great read;I'm still sad about silent hills & star wars 1313. Hopefully one day both games see the light of day.
Redwood Falls, Eight Days, Getaway 3. What about these games?

Ouch. Guessing it wasn't materialized the way they wanted.
Gotta be honest when I saw gameplay for it it just looked like a bunch flash and running around. Couldn't tell what was happening and lost interest.
Game didn't look like fun at all.
"right now there are other projects for the team to work on within the BioWare studios for the coming year and beyond."
Please go back to Jade Empire. I would love for that franchise to come back.
What happened was, EA probably saw Evolve not doing so well on the Steam charts and decided that Shadow Realms wouldn’t do so well either.
Atleast we didn't see like tons of screenshots and gameplay from this. It was still very much in the works.
