This should come in handy, thanks.

I've got a bunch of weapons that do over 700 damage where this weapon is like 150-160 after the upgrades. How is it the best knife?

Kidmyst3731d ago

After hitting survival level 25 using the dupe glitch with airdrops I bought a Samurai Sword, after 3 Kings upgrades, and the Exorcism mod (which added like 410 damage, bleeding and electrocution) the sword does like 2400 damage. Dupe a few of these and I'm set.

Good lord. That is awesome!

Using the volatile hunter dlc I upgraded my already overpowered knife (Dont remember the stats) so now it does 3777 damage it also have fire and electric effects on it

This knife is terrible. I have weapons that do over 1500 damage, so how is a knife that only does around 150 supposed to be one of the best and more rare knives in the game?

WeAreLegion3731d ago

Where are the better knives?

Damrock3731d ago

Seems some people think the title reads

"How to Get the Best weapon in Dying Light"

ZombieKiller3731d ago

Ok allow me to rephrase. I have a knife and a few other weapons over 500-700 damage. I was asking how this is special or why I should take the time out of my day for this video considering what I just said.

Am I the only one that avoids cutting weapons?

I mean I'm all about hitting zombies with a bat, and breaking their necks, but my friend is all about chopping arms off.

Hell we have this combo we do where I vault over a zombie, break it's neck, then when it falls to it's knees my friend *chops their head off.

Thirty-three some odd ours we've put into it, we are 27% done, and just reached the second area(though we haven't started it yet).

I love this game.

JamesBondage3731d ago

Do you have to complete the story to reach the sector 0?

FullmetalRoyale3731d ago

You have to play to a certain point, but I am only about twenty-seven percent through the game. Once you get there you can freely fast travel between the two areas.

Looking Back At The $386,000 Dying Light 'My Apocalypse Edition', 10 Years Later

Nobody bought it for an obvious reason.

Gamingsince198166d ago

Wtf did this edition come with ? A real helicopter and a real zombie virus ?

Vithar66d ago

For one lucky person willing to spend $386,000, the My Apocalypse Edition of Dying Light promised a staggering collection. It included the buyer’s face in the game, a human-sized ‘Volatile’ statue, and parkour lessons with a freerunning team. It also came with night vision goggles, an all-expenses paid round trip to Techland’s offices, and four signed copies of the game. Oh, and it also came with a custom-built, ‘zombie-proof’ survival shelter.

LOL but it was a stunt from the team:
‘It was a PR stunt and got a lot of media attention for its wild and over-the-top nature, it was designed to generate buzz around the game’s release. It did a great job of getting the game noticed, though! But nobody purchased it – thankfully, I guess!’

I finally beat DL2 this past weekend. I’ll pick up the Beast for sure.

It got a lot of shit from fans more not being as scary at night on release. I was in that boat. But once I gave it a fair shot I really loved it. The movement was so much more expressive to me. I enjoyed the story too.... for the most part. Was my game of the year when it came out. With all the updates for darker nights and all that, it's even better. I feel almost exactly the same about stalker 2 right now. The erojank games are scratching my itch.
