PC Magazine Review: The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (for Nintendo 3DS)

PC Magazine: The Legend of Zelda is a long series that has generally found a comfortable pattern: Link must explore three dungeons to get things, a big twist happens, and he must explore six to eight more dungeons to save Hyrule. It's the Zelda Formula, and the most beloved games like Link to the Past (and its sequel A Link Between Worlds$36.74 at Amazon) and Ocarina of Time (and its Nintendo 3DS remake Ocarina of Time 3D) follow it. Sometimes the series throws a few curveballs, though, and they can be equally beloved or utterly reviled. Majora's Mask, the sequel to Ocarina of Time, is one of the most polarizing games in the series, but it's gotten a lot of love after gamers had a decade and a half to chew on it. It's also gotten a remake on the 3DS.
