Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker review - Telegraph

Telegraph: Last year saw Nintendo returning to its roots as a toy-maker with the release of its Amiibo figurine line. Its first release of 2015 sees it continue in that role, albeit within the digital space. Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is less an action-adventure game and more a collection of 70+ decorative playthings: each level is a bespoke, premium-quality diorama, halfway between an artisanal objet d’art and a chunky, gaudily painted Fisher Price toy.
