Pretty decent list, I finished the game (love it!) and I only slightly disagree with: 05 – Ammunition Is Precious

You can buy ammo after reaching certain survivor level in almost every shop.

Side quests are important as hell, some of them give you some backstory!

The 'Good Luck" part of the motto must be aimed at PC players.....

Because 60+ FPS is bad, right kids?

samchez773789d ago

No, because shocking performance issues and patch after patch is.......

Maxor3788d ago

Thanks for proving you have no idea wtf you're talking about. There's only been 1 patch and the only shocking thing about the performance is the silky smooth 60+ FPS at 1440p.

if anyone listens - get the silent takedown or stealth kill upgrade and the upgrade where you can disguise yourself as an infected - use the 2 together and you can kill zombies as fast as you can snap necks!

Also if you die in the day you lose XP at night? You don't seem to lose XP.. So going out at night seems to be a better choice..

UnHoly_One3795d ago

If you die at night you don't lose any of your current XP but you lose out on a big chunk of your potential reward for surviving the night.

I have hardly gotten anywhere in the game, I spend so much time looting and smashung zombies, i get distracted easily by chests and trash cans etcc hehe. Love it , much better than I thought it would be. Good list ! Also glad they made it 2 pages instead of click for each tip, thank you so much.

Trekster_Gamer3795d ago

Runs smooth as butter and looks great on my Xbox One!

So far lovin the game!

famoussasjohn3795d ago

It does runs great on the Xbox One. Only platform I've heard that has some issues is the PC, but I think they got fixed with a patch.

@Alice:

It does run well on Xbone..

Looking Back At The $386,000 Dying Light 'My Apocalypse Edition', 10 Years Later

Nobody bought it for an obvious reason.

Gamingsince1981123d ago

Wtf did this edition come with ? A real helicopter and a real zombie virus ?

Vithar123d ago

For one lucky person willing to spend $386,000, the My Apocalypse Edition of Dying Light promised a staggering collection. It included the buyer’s face in the game, a human-sized ‘Volatile’ statue, and parkour lessons with a freerunning team. It also came with night vision goggles, an all-expenses paid round trip to Techland’s offices, and four signed copies of the game. Oh, and it also came with a custom-built, ‘zombie-proof’ survival shelter.

LOL but it was a stunt from the team:
‘It was a PR stunt and got a lot of media attention for its wild and over-the-top nature, it was designed to generate buzz around the game’s release. It did a great job of getting the game noticed, though! But nobody purchased it – thankfully, I guess!’

I finally beat DL2 this past weekend. I’ll pick up the Beast for sure.

It got a lot of shit from fans more not being as scary at night on release. I was in that boat. But once I gave it a fair shot I really loved it. The movement was so much more expressive to me. I enjoyed the story too.... for the most part. Was my game of the year when it came out. With all the updates for darker nights and all that, it's even better. I feel almost exactly the same about stalker 2 right now. The erojank games are scratching my itch.
