When Saints Row started off it was nothing more than a Grand Theft Auto wannabe. But, with much love and the help of what we can only assume is plenty of booze and drugs, the beautiful people over at Volition and High Voltage Software have taken this game series to new heights. How have they done this? Well with plenty of warped minds (more warped than mine) that manage to come up with numerous inconceivable enemies, plots, vehicles and weapons to keep us gamers entertained for hours on end. And thanks to those same guys, the fun many of us had on previous gen consoles can now be enjoyed on the PS4 and Xbox One.
Starting today, Saints Row IV Re-Elected and Wildcat Gun Machine are free at Epic Games Store. The free game offers run until December 15.
Volition writes, "We are pleased to let you know that on December 8th we will be upgrading all copies of Saints Row IV to Saints Row IV: Re-Elected. Plus PC crossplay for Steam, Epic & GOG."
The PS4 version runs at 60 on PS5 if you go into settings and it's either an uncap frame rate option or it's a Vsync option you need to toggle.

Also I'm not a fan of them removing the original game code from my library when I actually brought that game why not just give access to both versions I know the changes are minor at best but there are changes still
Where did they say that? Are you just making a stuff up?
Nothing in that post indicates they are taking away your ability to play the original. And that being said why would you WANT to play the original if you have the remaster? All the changes improve the game.

All other versions and separate DLC will be removed from sale as of December 8th and will no longer be useable. All of your saves and achievements will be moved over so you can still play as you always have. Mods should not be affected.
I believe in preservation why remove the original game theres plenty of precedent that you can have both versions even if it's minor changes

Removed from SALE. If you have it, then you have it. Add in piracy and the original is not going anywhere.
