Honestly, at least give us Soul Suspect or Shadow Warrior, not this crappola. Even if poo is free, it's still poo.

@Dudebro-Checked out #IDARB, it's really not to my liking, but if you like it, knock yourself out.. The 360 gets decent stuff though.

Dudebro901451d ago (Edited 1451d ago )

None of those games are "poo." You may not like them, but they are not poo and the world doesn't revolve around you.

Moldiver1451d ago

Well...You could always the games you want to play instead of waiting for a free handout. Support the devs of the games you play. Its just a thought.

BlackTar1871450d ago

I just got Shadow Warrior for like $5 or something. Worth it for sure especially since i loved the PC game from like 20yrs ago.

OLD 3D realms goodness that will never return.

AngelicIceDiamond1451d ago

@Heavy Why is Every little thing competition with you? It makes no sense.

Every little thing these companies give us we have to getting measuring tape out right?

Enjoy what they have because trust me there's far more important things these companies rather do and need to focus on. Like great AAA exclusives, pushing their AR/VR and a stable online service.

xHeavYx1451d ago

So, because I think that the games could be better, that means that everything is a competition for me?
I mean, you spend most of your time defending the Xbox brand, and you don't see me following you around saying it.

AngelicIceDiamond1451d ago (Edited 1451d ago )

@Heavy I'm just saying be happy with what you got.

"I mean, you spend most of your time defending the Xbox brand, and you don't see me following you around saying it."

Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. It would be bad If I defended Xbox and talked crap about everything sony.

You'll see me in Xbox articles allot of the times yes because I am an Xbox fan. If people spread lies or talk nonesense then yeah I'll correct he or she.

EDIT: Well you see I defend because people are disagreeing on a Xbox article because Sony fanboys don't know how to stay in their own articles. Case in point this article.

Honestly if Sony fans did that more often I wouldn't have to defend as much. Like I said This thread should show an example and prove my point. Because I see the disagree coming in hard.

xHeavYx1451d ago (Edited 1451d ago )

If people were "happy with what they got" you'd have DRM on your precious Xbox, and you wouldn't be able to re-sell your games. So, no, don't be "happy with what you got" if what you get is subpar.

@your last response
You talk like if there aren't plenty of Xbox trolls in Sony articles. It goes both ways.

LoveOfTheGame1451d ago

Don't lob factual statements at him as if they were insults.

Just because you weren't happy with the Xbox's original plan doesn't mean everyone was against it.

Also, learn some of the facts before claiming what could not be done. Why is there no mark down for straight up slander lol.

AngelicIceDiamond1451d ago

@Heavy "If people were "happy with what they got" you'd have DRM on your precious Xbox, and you wouldn't be able to re-sell your games."

How do you compare anti policies with simple free games?

Free games is a given. You don't like one month try the next month with free games.

Last I checked the majority didn't want DRM

DRM nobody wants.

free games everybody wants.

So nobody was happy with DRM.

But everyones happy with free games.

That's the general feeling.

Not sure how those compare.

JMyers1451d ago

Most things are competition though. Without Live there wouldn't be Plus, without plus there would not be games with gold. Simple as that. Without healthy competition no one would push to be better than the other. Many MS fans troll Sony articles. Its not one sided. Without complaining, comparing and competition where would each console be?

* Needs to be said:

* It's called GAMES with Gold, not GAME with gold.

* The people who bought in and supported the new console are getting the shaft. Doesn't make sense.

* They announced we would be getting two games a month a LONG time ago, and at one time that was the case, then after a while it started being one game a month for XB1 users.

* Hey Phil, you think we don't notice this ?

What's up with that?

Y'know, neither Sony nor Microsoft can be Rockstars every month. Both have bad months and we should accept this. At the very least, when we get bad months, we can continue playing online.

remixx1161451d ago

Come on dude be grateful, they're giving away games free games that more than cover the sub cost.

dreamed1450d ago

Grateful for a bunch of old shite,ok.

lelo2play1451d ago (Edited 1451d ago )

"That's it? They need to step it up. "

I completely agree.

Games offered so far with Gold for the X1, have been mostly crap.

LexHazard791451d ago

They need to step what up exactly? Its free, they dont have to give you S..t. There is plenty of good news on Sony side, so I dont understand why you here. Boo whoo,Thats it? Sounding like a lil, rhymes with witch.

Aside from Brother: A tale of two sons. It kinda is a bad month. But i highly recommend A tale of two sons. Its awesome albeit on the short side but still awesome.

bleedsoe9mm1451d ago

#idarb by all accounts is a great game , it is a little weird that their big xb1 game for the month is strictly a couch multiplayer game .

Magicite1451d ago

Awesome game, but extremely short.

purebennyc1451d ago

Another lacklustre entry in GwG, don't really have a problem with IDARB but surely it's about time they start giving XB1 gamers a similar deal to what they give to XB360 gamers.

Be interesting to see what PS Plus get in Feb, with Injustice in December and Infamous First Light in Jan it has been a good couple of months, however I would;t be surprised if Sony loses the Xmas Cheers and goes back to just Indie.

dolphin_supreme1451d ago

yea injustice and fight light was an apology for not coming out with ps version of driveclub. so i agree with you, but some indies on ps have been solid. have you tried resogun? so good

purebennyc1451d ago

Yeah agree on the Indie front the ones that have been given away on PS Plus have been not too bad but always nice when some of the more prominent titles get given away for free.

dolphin_supreme1451d ago

@purebennyc yea its been either a real hit or a real miss. the best one by far is binding of isaac. so addicting

Tedakin1451d ago

Anyone who is unhappy with these games, which are totally fine, should realize neither Sony nor MS have to give you anything. You are paying for online, that is it. This stuff is a bonus. Crazy right?

RyanShutup1451d ago

Yeah but they are sort of forced to compete against each other now... do they have to do it? No... but if they don't the other company will have a huge leg up. Sony's been stepping it up the past few months XBL needs to answer back...

Gh05t1451d ago

If they advertise it as a feature you are inherently paying for it since that is now a "selling" point.

So no they don't "have" to offer the GwG, but they are the ones pushing it as a feature to the service.

ShwankyShpanky1450d ago (Edited 1450d ago )

Um... just to be clear, game selection notwithstanding, they have to give me at least what's advertised as part of their service, which includes "free" games. No, they don't have to be of any specific quality, but they do "have to give me" the games they advertised.

Side note: I signed up for PS+ when it first launched. I signed up for the games; there was no PS+ requirement for online. XBL Gold subbers were already paying for online, and were given GWG as a "bonus" to compete with PS+. PS+ subbers were already paying for the IGC, with the online requirement implemented only with the launch of the PS4. And since I spend an exponentially larger amount of time playing my PS+ games than I do playing online, I'll consider the online as the "bonus."

brotherlymoses1451d ago

I only payed $35 for a 12month Xbox live card so I'm not gonna complain lol
