Fans of Tecmo Koei's hack-and-slash Samurai Warriors series will be more than chuffed to see the brand new promo video that Sony Japan has released today.
Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "Everything is cuter in Japan. Games are cuter. Food is cuter. Even the freaking squirrels are cuter. Don’t believe me? See that creature below? That’s a picture of some momongas, Japanese flying squirrels, shared by Cute Overload. You can’t compete with that."
Straight from Koei Tecmo Games, the company that produced Hyrule Warriors, and is, potentially, the sole dominating force in the hack-and-slash genre, comes Samurai Warriors' first outing on the PC: Samurai Warriors 4-II. Is it fun and engaging, or a bland repetition of mashing the same attack button over and over again? Cubed3 finds out.
Davis from Denkiphile: "After the release of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, I have been absolutely spoiled and expect nothing from greatness from Japanese PC ports. Well, some would say spoiled, but I really think it should be the norm. After all, why should an entire platform suffer? In comes Samurai Warriors 4-II, which is also developed by Omega Force, though published through Koei Tecmo rather than Bandai Namco. Naturally, I expected the same quality port, though that is not entirely the case."
