UM writes: It’s well established that ninjas rule everything around them and are totally sweet. Video game creators certainly know this fact, so it’s no surprise that ninjas have appeared in various video games throughout the years. Just about all of them kick ass, but some stand out much more than others. I recently played Ninja Blade demo – which I thought sucked – and got to thinking about the coolest, most bad ass ninjas in video games. Naturally, I created another Power Rankings. After the jump, take a look at the top five video game ninjas presented – as always – in reverse order.
Mortal Kombat is one of the longest-running video game franchises, but it has been lacking in spin-offs, which needs to change.
The last two MKs have been overrun with micro transactions, lame new characters and weak crossovers (ex. omni man)
They also go way too far with the gore now, the Finishers were much better in earlier games and not as ridiculous. So tired of the extreme and unnecessary gore. Gore has always been part of MK but whoever is designing the finishers now is awful; they're not fun they're just disgusting.
They should remaster Shaolin Monks
No it needs to release a complete game with no predatory microtransactions and a million season passes. I have been an MK fan since the first arcade machine hit and now if I want to play MK, I play my MK arcade machine
A chat with MGS Delta Snake Eater producer Noriaki Okamura about the past and future of Konami's stealth-action series.
It's not going to be the same without him regardless so honestly it would probably be better just to try to do your own thing while staying in the same genre and general gameplay style.
The story in metal gear solid 4 was already a huge step down from the first three. Then the story in V was minimized and totally forgettable. One of Kojimas art directors could definitely make a solid metal gear sequel.
Also when you compare Stranding to Kojimas previous games he could easily be a Neil Druckman type where most of his best ideas were from people he worked with.
For example all of the MGS covers and the art style associated with Metal Gear wasn't even created by Kojima.
I think someone could take the torch, but they’d really have to be a mega fan and understand the narrative and quirkiness and humor of MGS and just Kojima’s design principles. Make bosses that revolve around “themes” and “gimmicks” and bring freaking David Hayter back for the English dub.
I have been saying for years that Kojima is not needed to continue this franchise. Revolver Ocelot could have a trilogy on his own with the established lore and it would be fantastic
A Mortal Kombat Remaster could be in development, as teased by the Eyeballistic CEO on Twitter through allegedly AI-generated images.
Didn't they have HD remakes of the first 3 games ready and for some reason decided not to release it? And also, wasn't a remake of the first game being developed already with all new actors portraying the original cast and they shelved that one too?
It's all they know how to do now huh ? Could've atleast have a look at remaking/remastering Shaolin Monks.
No Rikimaru? No Strider Hiryu?
