A devastating war has torn the galaxy apart. Dozens of planets and star systems have declared independence or forged new alliances, while governments fall and warlords rise to power. Chaos and corruption are everywhere and so to maintain order and negotiate peace between the ruling factions, private mercenary armies are called to action.
Baden of WGB: "From the outside Mechs & Mercs has a lot in common with the fantastic XCOM: Enemy Unknown, featuring permanent death and promising strategic gameplay, all while being in control of a company of space mercenaries. As the commander of the titular Black Talons it’s your job to lend aid to an independent system under siege by the Tzanar Union. Sounds cool, right? Nope. Though Mechs & Mercs may hold much promise in its own premise it struggles to deliver compelling gameplay, providing lackluster at almost every turn."
Lovers of physical discs and Kasedo Games’ Mechs & Mercs: Black Talons, the company as announced that after being released today for PC via Steam, their game will also be available in physical disc form via retail on January 23rd.
