H1Z1 has finally been launched on Steam Early Access but the first few days have been plagued with crashes, errors, and connection issues. Here are the best fixes found so far.

H1Z1 looks like good fun I have been watching it on Twitch. I cant wait for it to be released on PS4. A lot of people was complaining about the issues and its good to see H1Z1 get fixes fast.

The biggest issue with H1Z1 is the game itself. Yet another ambitious DayZ clone that promised it would "do it better" but ended up being clunky and boring. And they added ridiculous PayToWin mechanics on top of that.

Looks to me like DayZ isn't about to get dethroned anytime soon

2bh days is clunky at best, it's fun but has been stick in paid alpha for a long time now and runs like crap.

Its early access .... which is before even alpha.... and DayZ is a clone from mod in Arma so get your facts bro.

DayZ was a functionnal game when it started in early access. It had little content but it worked. You could have fun with it. The same can't be said of H1Z1

DayZ IS the arma mod. It's not a 'clone' if the guy decided to make a standalone version of his mod

I don't know where you come off saying DayZ was a functional game when it launched on Early Access. I purchased DayZ a day after its initial release and it was the FURTHEST thing from a functional game.In fact, DayZ had the same problems H1Z1 is having now when it launched. Still, I agree you had fun even with all of the issues. I'm also playing H1Z1 at the moment and I think it's a good time as well.

Maybe I just don't remember very well. I had spent 1000 hours in the mod and waited for the standalone release like it was christmas. What kind of issues were there?

Oh man, it was extremely difficult to even get into a server in the first place. You would have to spam the JOIN tab for about 5 minutes straight to even get in. Once you got in you would either get booted immediately after or run around not knowing that you were actually disconnected the whole time even though the game let you run around making it seem like everything was okay. You couldn't open doors or pick up items in certain servers and it wasn't even due to lag input. The biggest pain the butt issue for me was spawning in a server while in the prone position. You wouldn't be able to stand up or crouch, you'd be stuck to the ground. But when you managed to get into a smooth server, the game was good for an Early Access. I, like you, was on the edge of my seat waiting for DayZ's release.

People treat Early Access games like they're official launches. It's a pre-alpha at best and it has done a lot of good since then. People complaining about pay-to-win are ridiculous. You call down a care package and literally EVERYONE on the map runs to the smoke. When you get there, you have about 5-6 other people already trying to kill each other over the package and on top of that you have to fight off swarms of zombies. Come on guys! It's so easy to read an article and jump on the bandwagon. Actually play the game and come up with your own opinion. You know the chances of you ACTUALLY retrieving the care package you called down? Slim to none.

I love the idea of spending real world money to summon something that gets you killed and results in no gain whatsoever, haha. A bit of a gamble. XD

I agree, I had more fun last night playing then I ever have playing day z.
