Why Not Give Xenoblade Chronicles Another Chance on New 3DS?

GamesRadar

I understand why many overlooked Xenoblade Chronicles. After a 2011 launch in Europe, this massive JRPG first appeared to be skipping America despite having a full English translation. Then, when it finally did come to the US in 2012, positive buzz couldn’t make up for a limited release for a nearly dead console like the Wii. If you regret missing this open-world adventure, western players will finally have a real chance to experience on the New 3DS this April. And after playing the remake, I think it’s worth a second (or is it third?) look.

Can't wait to try it out. Never had a Wii, this is one game I wanted to try, now I can. :D

I'm getting it due to the convenience that having it on the go represents.
No more having to boot up my Wii and pulling out my wiimote+nunchaku to play it, and the 3D effect should be awesome in certain areas...

I've got about 1500 hours into all 4 Xenoblade games. It's now tied with Zelda as my favorite series. We need a Xenoblade Warriors game.

Best JRPG series of the last 5 years imo

repsahj630d ago

I agree 100%. My top JRPG so far, together with Baldurs Gate 3 and FF16.

autobotdan630d ago (Edited 630d ago )

There is no together at the top. There is only one top jrpg series. Xenoblade Chronicles series is alone at the top

raWfodog629d ago (Edited 629d ago )

I like the Xenoblades series but my ‘top’ series would be either the Trails series or Persona series. Just too many good games for me to just pick one series though, so I say play them all lol.

autobotdan629d ago

You are hereby excommunicated the church of Xenoblade Chronocology

CappyBlack629d ago

I'm not huge into JRPGs, but my favorite is easily the Persona series. It's all opinion though. Xenoblade is a great series.
