Xbox One vs PS4 – Best new exclusive games of 2015

2014 was a really exciting year for gamers thanks to all the new releases, but this year is expected to be even better for that very same reason. A number of very interesting new titles are set to hit both the Xbox One and the PS4 this year and that’s what we’re here to talk about today. Granted, it’s a bit early to say which console will have the better games seeing as how we know little about some of them and there are likely at least a few still unannounced ones. That said, many of the ones we do know about could potentially blow your mind this year. As a fair warning, I’ll only be talking about Xbox One and PS4 exclusives here so keep that in mind.

I don't think we will see anything groundbreaking from either this year. Maybe in a few years..

The only thing really keeping these two consoles afloat is the mutliplats.

Why do you think that? The popular opinion is that both consoles will have great exclusives next year.

Theres Uncharted 4, Halo 5, Order 1886, Quantum Break, Bloodborne, and Rise of the Tomb Raider.

If those lineups arent groundbreaking then I dont know what you were expecting

So ground breaking is means the same old gameplay but in 1080p? What is ground breaking about Bloodborne again? It's Darksoul in a different setting. What's ground breaking about Halo 5? Its freaking Halo! What's ground breaking about Uncharted 4? Chest hair?

Yeah the graphics are prettier and some sequels are exhibiting more depth. But groundbreaking doesn't apply to single one of these games.

This new gen is bringing better graphics, better performance, and more gameplay possibilities. Thats pretty groundbreaking to me

@Maxor: Depends on your definition of groundbreaking. The next big groundbreaking thing in gaming will likely be VR. Anyway 2015 will be an excellent year for gamers.

Besides all the Megaton AAA games we'll be getting a lot of unique "smaller" titles such as: No Man's Sky, The Witness, Let it Die, Volume, Everybody's gone to the Rapture, The tomorrow children, Wild, Rime, Ori, Cuphead, Inside, Below, Mighty No. 9, Splatoon, Mario Maker, Yoshi's Wooly World.

Some of those titles have some innovative ideas in them. That's as groundbreaking as it gets when we're talking about a medium that has been around for 40+ years. It's more about evolution than revolution.

lol I love it.
So many people whine about a 'new gen' groundbreaking experience I dont know what they expected.
If they think better graphics and smoother or more possibility in gameplay (like in Uncharted 4) is not enough then they should stay with the old gen, they might miss out on great new games only on new gen though.

Uncharted 4 and Halo 5 will be the biggest exclusives from each side, and theyre both looking incredible. Those, plus all of the other exclusives and multiplats, will make 2015 a very good year.
