gamrReview's Xavier Griffiths: "In its ninth year on the market the Xbox 360 continued to play host to a staggering amount of high quality game releases. With the spotlight shifting to the newer generation of consoles you could be forgiven for thinking the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are well behind the times.
But no, the Xbox 360 continued to be one of the best places to play AAA calibre games. Our nominees for best Xbox 360 Game of 2014 leans heavily on adventure fantasy fare, taking you to distant lands full of danger and excitement."
As difficult and frustrating as it is, people should consider reliving the Dark Souls 2 experience, especially because of what's coming to the game.
Many of those who hate Dark Souls II hate it because it's not Dark Souls. The same people love Dark Souls III because it isn't Dark Souls II.
And so many of the issues at the centre of common complaints about DS2 are present in DS3 and sometimes even DS1. The hatred and bile spewed over this perfectly decent game is ludicrous.
You can also play it in VR flawlessly on PC & controller with the LukeRoss mod so… another reason to jump back in with extra immersion.
The controls felt very clunky to me, I tried playing it after beating Darksouls 3 and it didn’t feel fluid, obviously the hit detection is less superior for been an older game.
Ubisoft's latest Far Cry 4 update enables 60 FPS on PS5 after releasing an update earlier for Far Cry New Dawn with similar improvements.
Sony....you're really letting ubisoft out of all all companies to out class you??? Give us the bloondborne 60 fps patch....ffs
Kudos to Ubisoft for once again going back to older titles and then offering a nice upgrade for free. I know the company gets a lot of criticism, in quite a few cases understandable and justified, but in this area of contintued post-launch support for their SP games, they deserve some credit.
Update: Ubisoft has acknowledged that the Japanese version of the game, which includes regional censorship, was mistakenly released globally. The company says it has reverted these changes in the game's worldwide branch.
Ubisoft has quietly removed nudity from Far Cry 4 in a recent update, sparking speculation about Tencent’s growing influence on the publisher.
You can murder, mame, and viciously attack people, but anything that deals with showing a body in a natural state whether for titillation or narrative, is some truly terrible thing. We are so weird with our puritan thought process. Feed our bloodlust and fuel our enjoyment for entertainment of simulating acts of harm and murder, but god forbid you see digitized TnA. It will never make sense to me.
i think DAI would be a better choice , but hell DS2 was good too ^_^
The only game on that list that i played and am still playing at 30% in is far cry 4. But i wouldn't call it one of the best games of 2014 just yet, in fact with all the sidequests and huge map i chalk it up as another gta clone set in india...it's an ok game but it has yet to make me say wow...
I have yet to buy into next gen, current gen, or whatever people want to call it because i feel there are still a bunch of great games in last gen that i haven't played and are now so much cheaper...but that's for another article.
