PlayStation Anniversary Sale Starts Today: 60+ Games Discounted

Happy New Year everyone! As you probably already know, it has been 20 years since the original PlayStation launched. I snatched up DA: Origins.. I've been hooked on Inquistion so I wanna start at the beginning.

The DLC is still rather expensive tho. $19.99 for The Awakening on PSN. I should of just went to see if GS had the Ultimate Edition new or pre-owned but I couldn't pass up $5 for a digital copy.

I hope so, but I doubt we'll get sales of the same proportion, price-wise. Usually we have to pay quite a lot more than US-gamers.

For example, I believe they already had Tomb Raider for sale for only 15$ a few months ago, while the cheapest sale we've seen for Tomb Raider in our EU PS Store was 20 euro, 1-2 weeks ago.

Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver!!! It is now time to dust off that gem of a game! I haven't played that game since I rented it from Blockbuster Video way back when it first came out.

Easily in my top 10 games of all time. So many good memories. I've never beat the game but I've started it from the beginning like 10 times because I've played it on my PS1, PS3, PS2, PSV, PSP, and PS One.

I preferred the original "Legacy of Kain" however it did have one annoying feature and that IMHO was the loading times when you opened doors and there were allot of doors.

This is not to say "Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver" was bad IMHO it was an excellent game and IMO well worth the purchase, however I preferred the original over the sequel.

Kill zone can be found for 19.99 at so many stores very often. For the 20th anniversary I wish the game was a bit cheaper on psn. I'll have to keep waiting lol. Okay sale overall

Be prepared to put in over 50 hours on this game and that's just one build. For $5 that is an excellent buy if you like RPG's.

I still have the original FFVIII disks and it plays great on my PS3. Actually this is the only FF game where I really did not like the central character although later on he does start to become likeable and more interesting.

Wow look at all those games on sale for the PS4. CoD: Ghost, a dead shooter. KZ:SF, another dead shooter. Need for Speed: Rivals...a dead racer, and FF: A Realm Reborn, a MMO with a sub fee. Good thing I knew PS4 "sales" always suck.

Be sure to play Extended Warzone if you buy Killzone Shadow Fall.
And place spawn beacons.
Change classes when you die. Stack abilities.
Have fun.

Don't buy if it's only for the SP. The gameplay is awesome with the owl and all, but the storytelling is as poor as it gets. It also has some difficulty spikes (though in general it's playable on hard).

Killzone: SF has some really, really great online multiplayer.

I think it can be had for $20 elsewhere though.

That said, there's no tax if you go digital.
