I was just wondering when Episode III was coming yesterday too.

breakpad3392d ago (Edited 3392d ago )

these are good news ...because Sonic 4 episodes were mediocrities at best..i wonder these guys in Sega cannot replay Sonic 1 ,2, and knuckles and see were they suck in development? imo it so so easy and makes SEGA seem like idiots by not being capable of making a proper AAA in quality Sonic game..Sega you can hire me for consultant if you really have a problem ..

SoapShoes3392d ago

Dude Sonic 4 is just complete rehashes of the originals albeit the first had bad physics. Episode II was actually quite good IMO. I love how people forget Generations and Colors... Recent AAA Sonic games that were terrific.

Hoffmann3392d ago (Edited 3392d ago )

The game should have been released as ONE FULL game not multiple episodes. The episodes thing was the reason I did not buy it.

Good

Hopefully once SEGA gets their act together they can make a full on Sonic 4 game which is true to the old games.

This one being in a full on package not episodes

Mikefizzled3392d ago

Best invest in a Sonic Boom sequel then. Sega pls I was joking.

SpiralTear3392d ago

Watch them make THAT a trilogy. Damn.

StormLegend3392d ago

I would really love another game like Sonic generations instead you guys focusing on this.

Sega sells Relic and will cut 240 jobs across UK studios

GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.

The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."

Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.

just_looken21d ago

It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.

gold_drake22d ago

I hope they find new jobs in the industry soon.

Jingsing22d ago

Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol

SEGA’s Switch Predecessor: What Happened to the Nomad?

Sega had such a turbulent existence from the mid-90s to when they dropped out of console manufacturing entirely in 2001, it’s understandable if you’ve never heard of the Genesis Nomad.
