Excellent music!

Yeah, I read it's a shooter so I avoided it.

Crimsonland is not an RPG, it's more of a Zerg Rush shooter.

Geez, ever since companies like Bioware tried masking shooters as RPGs everything is an RPG these days. May as well eliminate all genres and call everything one big RPG. Technically it'd be true since most of gaming has you playing a role anyway.

I honestly lose my sh*t everytime I hear the term RPG misused and this was definitely one of them.

People seem to think that the only thing an RPG is is a game where you can gain experience and level up. Personally speaking, I place games in genres based on what you spend most of your time doing. That's why Mass Effect to me is not an RPG, it's a shooter with some RPG elements.

The term RPG has been so butchered since the start of last gen.

Dang. I was excited for a moment that some great rpg was coming to the ps3 to play. I mean I'll play tales of zestiria when that comes out but it definitely got my hopes up only to be dashed.

The first one (Mass Effect) was more of an RPG than a shooter. It is why I like that one the most.

Hah, yeah it is not an RPG at all. Like, in any definition of the term.

It's a dual-stick shooter with random power-ups that pop up. Bland graphics, but decently fun. Calling it an RPG is crazypants though.

One of my absolute favorite games. Still trying to clear it grim mode, just waiting for my thumb to stop hurting from hardcore mode. It's not an RPG, its a unique top down shooter with weapon perks, fun and challenging.

Crimsonland Review | GameGrin

Like that old Ronseal advert from the noughties, Crimsonland does exactly what it says on the tin: It delivers buckets buckets of blood that’ll paint your screen as sanguine as a vintage bottle of cabernet sauvignon.
