they should remake GR and also Soul Sacrfice for PS4 like they did with Tearaway, these games are great a need a larger platform.

@Postedup given sony's vita run this far i doubt gr2 would help it because they simply wouldn't advertise it. If anything it would just hurt the game's potential sales and not help the platform at all. I think it's best to just put it on ps4 as well. People who want to buy it on vita will still buy it on vita.

They have to know which platform it's on. There is a big discrepancy between assets between the PS4 and Vita.

Anyways on topic -

While it would suck for most Vita owners, I'm an owner that wouldn't mind this. That said, GR2 would have to take full advantage of the PS4 for this move to be justified.

I can see one day all Vita exclusives to be on PS4 alongside their respective sequels. They'll look and play better, not to mention sale better. Also it'll allow their developers little to no restrictions on creativity or such.

Fuck off Sony. Just tell us you give up on Vita and put our minds to rest. They even developed LBP3 for PS3 but not psvita.
Atleast there still Ubisoft and Bandai Namco still supporting it and Ill support them. I cant believe i bought freedom wars day one. If I knew this'll happens i wouldve gone with another game.

If its on PS4, it will be able to sell greater and give Japanese gamers more reason to buy a PS4. Yoshida said "We're focusing on PS4 in Japan now" in an interview, that's why they've been aggressive with JRPG's for PS4. At the end of the day this is a business and PS4= Big $.

Gravity Rush 1&2 on a single Blu-Ray for PS4 would be awesome.

When Gravity Rush came out in Japan, Vita sales actually dropped from the prior week. The idea that it's a system seller is daft.

I agree, PS4 is awesome and it's doing great in sales, but Vita on the other hand is doing terrible. What I really want is for Sony to make the Vita do a U-turn just like with what they did to the PS3(terrible first 3 years). Putting GR2 on Vita would assure that Sony still cares for it and would be willing to support it.

I think they just need to start churning out some mid-tier simplistic games with a lot of meat till something resonates with the consumer base.Where's our action RPGs? i would KILL for 3D Dot Game Heroes to end up a Vita exclusive franchise

It would make so much more sense to make it Vita exclusive to actually get rid of that Vita stock & get them into more people's hands, as well as sell more memory cards which will in turn help them reduce the prices of those memory cards.

So many good games for the Vita already, this would be an additional title to convince potential buyers.
I mean yes, you could get a lot more out of the title if it was on console BUT that's true of any handheld franchise.

This upsets me. I have a PS4 and Vita day one for both, but I want this only on Vita. Give me a reason to keep my Vita and the support I've been giving it, I want to continue the support because I love the platform, but I've been feeling betrayed as a dedicated money throwing customer for the Vita as of late when I hear things like this.

Someone asked if it was going to be exclusive to the Vita and the original answer was yes. Then it was corrected to say that they made a mistake and that no platforms had been announced yet. So that leads to the conclusion that it isn't coming to the Vita at all? That's jumping the gun a little.

I'm betting that it will be a PS4/Vita cross-buy title. As much as I'd love for it to be a Vita exclusive, it makes no sense from a business perspective to not put it on their #1 console. Gravity Rush 2 isn't going to make people go out and buy the Vita in masses.
