Haven't even used the Youtube-app on my PS4 because I knew the ads would drive me crazy. Very happy I've got AdBlock installed on my PC, so I can still enjoy YT ad-free.

Will definitely try the Youtube app on my PS4 now, if this works well. :)

It really does work well. I only watch YouTube on my PS4 at night to help me sleep. The How It's Made channel is so relaxing.

It's honestly not that bad, you watch 5 seconds of an ad on every video then it's skippable. Theres no ads in-video and theres never any longer than that.

Saying that it shouldn't have ads at all, are the millions (billions?) of dollars they get not enough?

Good to know, but so far every ad I've seen in the PS4 YT app can be skipped by pressing X on the "Skip Ad" button that's hilighted by default.

I guess waiting 5 seconds to skip is too much for some people.
FYI, no ads on the Vita app, ever.

Just letting you know...the show I watch on YouTube they spam the stupid new supergirl show ad and there is no option to skip....period....so some of the people are complaining about the unskippable ads not the ones you have to watch 5 seconds of to skip...so yeah
