Doesn't matter what side anyone roots for, this site will only approve of PS4 related stuff, if someone says Xbox had the best games, 34 people who don't own an Xbox will disagree even though none of them have a shadow of a chance of playing an Xbox because of how stubborn they are.

Xbox had Halo MCC for the worst launch

Playstation had Driveclub that wasn't even finished until two months AFTER it was released.

The Masterchief collection was finished first and Titanfall was more satisfying than the Infamous: Second Son tech demo so the Xbox wins for me... unfortunately, i can't be listened to because I have one bubble.

Out of security woes, both got hacked, i could play games on the Xbox but my PS4 wouldn't let me without being conected to the internet, isn't that DRM?

I have an Xbox One, a PS4 and A WII U (of which i got for christmas this year, yay) but because of this message, i am a trolling Xbox Fanboy smh

My GOTY is Smash Bros (i played it a lot before i got my Wii U) but i'm probably still going to be an Xbox fanboy sigh.

What's wrong with Sunset Overdrive? I don't usually play that type of game but I absolutely loved SSO. Name a brand new PS4 exclcusive ip that can match up again SSO? You can't because there is none yet except DriveClub which sucked

SSO is a blast to play, it's great Insomniac finally has another fun franchise. But Driveclub doesn't suck anymore (it never did, the online was just 'missing' but that didn't change the racing mechanics) and is one of my favorite racers, right next to FH2.

That being said, wordt console game was without a doubt Basement Crawl, the best was Shadow of Mordor (is it sad a multiplat was the best of the year?)

And these are all opinions, you know, before the disagrees come in.

I disagreed because altho I only have XB1, I did have a PS4 til about a week ago. I dont have a worst games list. But this yr. I had the most fun on XB1, which made it easy to sell my PS4. I might regret it for the first half of 2015 yr. But its ok, ill get another PS4 in due time.

I do agree that only console gamers with both consoles have a say.

I agree with you completely and also sold my ps4. With my PC, X1 and WiiU the thing collected dust. I will rebuy it when it has games that I enjoy, they fix the cheap controller and it has a price drop. Good hardware, dull game selection in my opinion for now.

I'm not going too agree or disagree with your comment but I own all 3 consoles and in my house the X1 is almost non existent. In the year that it's been out I've only beat RYSE and just recently bought the Master Cheif Catastrophe. I downloaded Warframe just too see if there was any difference than the PS4 and there wasn't. Tried the Dead Rising demo and meh.... Sunset Overdrive, not my thing. Titanfall, meh.... So it's basically just sat there and collected dust.

In the end there's no way I would sell my PS4 and only game on the X1 because there is nothing on that system I want too play until Quantum Break, some form of Gears Remaster, Below and Crackdown see the light of day.

The biggest failures on both consoles were Halo: Master Chief Collection and DriveClub, which were both released unfinished.

I'd say that MCC is a bigger issue, as it's Microsoft's golden goose and they let it out the door as a broken POS, without warning to consumers, knowing it was broken. Same for DriveClub except that was a new IP with warning signs galore. For a Halo release to have huge issues is much more significant, and MCC getting 8, 9 and 10s when it was a fundamentally broken game across campaign and online multiplayer just showed how corrupt our industry can be.

MCC still has technical issues, whilst DC is now fixed and still greatly improved with the addition of content and great features.

FYI, the matchmaking already been fixed on MCC for weeks now after the latest updates. If you have a XB1, you would have known...but of course you don't so your point is irrelevant to the discussion.

You can push that score in my face all you want but it doesn't fix how deep the corruption runs or the sorry state that gaming is in when an utterly broken game with a WIDE array of both campaign and multiplayer issues can receive scores of 8, 9 and 10s, just because of pre-defined reverence.

There's nothing you can hold up to justify a metascore of 85. The game was broken, should have received 4, 5 and 6s out of 10 and THEN maybe, THEN when the game had been universally fixed, should re-reviews been considered.

DriveClub meta is 71, which isn't too bad considering the double standards.

Both campaign and multiplayer issues persist since at least Tuesday of this week. I don't need an Xbone to read honest feedback.

PS+ version is you simply grasping for straws against an argument you think you've won. PS+ version of a full game doesn't reflect against the game itself. PS+ version is a distribution method of the full game. If it were the PS+ version being reviewed then maybe you would have a point.

Both situations have been are epic fails, but it seems to me that just like I'm making out MCC to be the bigger failure of both, you are stuck in your ways that DC still has issues. Not really so much anymore. Post-update and content, the game is a solid 8.5/10 and that's not the first time I've heard that from others on many gaming sites and forums, PlayStation-oriented or not.

And no you are wrong again, the MCC online is working fine now as I have the game and play it everyday so I have first hand experience and testing of the matchmaking since launch which is a heck more important than armchair gamers who don't have the xb1 to test it out but claim it is broken. And here we are folks...this is the real reason why Digital is so mad. The simple fact that MCC is rated higher than DC due to the "CORRUPT MEDIA/INUSTRY" the tin foil conspiracy you guys always have rearing it's ugly head again.

First of all DC was delayed a year and released with most of it's promised features missing or not working, plus an online that was broken, not to mention less content and customization that is usually found in most current races. So yea, DC should be scored less.

MCC online wasn't nearly as broken as bad as DC and the Campaign worked perfect so what are you talking about. MCC does not still have technical issues and if you would actually play it or even OWN an Xbox One you would know this.

MCC was finished my bias friend, the online was not up to par, that is true. But DC was not only delayed a year but released NOT finished and only now has it received patches adding features, weather, and other modes that should have been in there with it's YEAR delay.

2014 for the now-gen consoles overall was mediocre I think.

Was the year ( end ) were a couple of remastered classics was a lot better than other new games.

Mid-to-late 2015 is when things will hot up.
