GungHo Online Entertainment is taking their crossover strategy from Puzzle & Dragons and applying it to Divine Gate, a smartphone game developed jointly by Akiba’s Trip maker Acquire and GungHo.
"Divine Gate from Akiba’s Trip developer Acquire is a puzzle RPG for anime fans. Earlier, Divine Gate had a crossover with Hatsune Miku and soon you’ll be able to get characters from Durarara!!x2.
The collaboration starts way before the anime series airs in Japan. Players will be able to get Izaya Orihara and Shinra Kishitani in Divine Gate starting on October 24. More details about the crossover and a special quest will be announced later on."
