Well thank god. There's only so many Nintendog greeting cards a man can buy before breaking.

Speak for yourself ;)

rivencleft3405d ago

As Patrick Henry once said "Give me Nintendog Greeting Cards or Give Me Death", yeah I think that was it, at least something along those lines.

MNGamer-N3405d ago

The Nintendogs joke is old with you. You used too many times.

However I think we all agree that physical rewards are what we want more of. A good balance of physical or digital rewards would be nice.

But I'm still happy with whatever they offer, because it's free. I'm never going to complain about free stuff, that's being greedy.

ValKilmer3405d ago

I've used it twice, the same amount of Nintendogs greeting card sets that have been purchased from Club Nintendo.

rivencleft3405d ago

Damn, for some reason it won't let me get the Legend of Zelda 3DS card case, every time I click on it the screen goes blank, may have to pick up that Samus shirt too since I have 1150 coins just sitting there looking pretty.

OCEANGROWNKUSH3405d ago

Just grabbed the card case, i do like the shirt and have the points but i think im going to save my remaining points.

ValKilmer3405d ago

Chicks dig Metroid shirts, right?

MNGamer-N3405d ago

Not if a Moron is wearing it. Nintendo chicks are smart.

TXIDarkAvenger3405d ago

Ah yes finally some physical rewards!

Redeem physical copies of Switch games for My Nintendo points on the homescreen

It's pretty easy, . Club Nintendo was pretty much the best. You'd pop open that new game case, and other than the new game smell, you'd get a cool little Club Nintendo insert to redeem for points.

Finally a step in the correct direction with this program. I still think that it was developed mainly with the Switch in mind, so when that releases it'll get a major update.

strayanalog2724d ago

Agreed. Hopefully when the Switch releases there will be some killer rewards.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory2724d ago

That probably why it was lackluster since release.

R00bot2723d ago

I hope they get rid of the time limit on coins. I just logged on to find that over 500 silver coins had expired. Stupid.

My Nintendo Continues To Disappoint Half A Year Later

Despite some hype upon launch, Club Nintendo has instead proven to be quite the let-down and gamers are letting Nintendo know they aren't happy.

It's the story of the Nintendo brand sadly.

peewee110162750d ago

i am still waiting for the free to play games for wii u and still nothing. :(

Cheezeman30002750d ago

It's ridiculous. I feel like they started it without a plan in mind for where it's going or... what the point of it even is.

TheColbertinator2750d ago

Getting a sweet Mario cap with picking up a treasure trove of DS games was so awesome. Nintendo had a good thing going but the last couple of years have been left wanting.

The author made a good point. Perhaps the NX and a renewed focus on connecting with gamers might rekindle the magic.
