Evolution Studios' Paul Rustchynsky hints at some upcoming fixes and features for DriveClub.
please adjust the AI and add options to switch off assists (abs, tcs, etc) and that will go a long way in my book.
this game isn't a simulator, there no abs tcs etc
and thats its biggest problem. attempting to "kill" the big boys while being a need for speed or project gotham. technically the entire physics model of it is all assists... too much. its completely unrealistic which is why i don't like it that much. it was supposed to straddle the line of arcade/sim but its more 80% arcade, IMO. I don't completely hate it but it's certainly not a Forza killer... or a Gran Turismo killer. Maybe a NFS killer. I'd like it to be more than that.
Yeah, and switch off the assists for Burnout, NFS, and other such games, too. You guys are trying way too hard now. You don't even want to play this game. Nothing they did would make you want to. Stop wasting time.
Good news, I'm having a hard time with some of the races in TOUR mode...lol Beautiful game but I wish the cars would have a lil' more grip;)
This game just keeps on giving ; D
So the headline, then immediately yelled at my bf "Like, dude! OMG, 3 months from now, Driveclub gonna be like so totally unrecognizable from launch day 1". You need to understand though ...we're like totally tryna beat each others lap times on this game. That's how totally freekin' awesome and addictive it is to play! This B**ch burns seconds off the track, like calories at Cardio/Aerobics class! Lool ;o))
Definitely needs selectable difficulty settings and the option of a driving line. Many of the career events are so dark, it's impossible to see where you're supposed to be going. Which is a shame, because this really is a gorgeous looking game.
It amazes me that this game was delayed and they are still adding new material to it. But, hey, at least they are still making improvements. Maybe a year from now it will be perfect.
thats how planetside 2 is. it's still not right, though it may be someday. this is how H1Z1 is going to be as well, though that approach was planned, and announced.
venom hot lap 2 is evil
PURE EVIL! Elements trophy has some ridiculous requirements. the last round of the championship requires you to lead the race for 1m30s and the race is only 4 laps and the heavy snow OMG!! I drove solely based on my memory of the circuit and couldn't even lead for even a minute!
Cool. I'm enjoying this game, and the continuous free updates make it feel like a living game. Keep the updates coming Evo. Oh yeah and make a new Motorstorm on PS4 please.
Damn, I could only dream of a motorstorm with this engine and visual. Seriously this needs to happen.
All is great but where is the PSN+ version that was promised to us PSN+ subscribers since last year? Is Sony waiting to get everything patch up first before releasing the PSN+ version?
Such a shame it wasn't included when people bought it. When I buy a game on Steam Greenlight I know it isn't finished, but this is supposed to be a finished product that has all of its features included. It's okay though, the fanbase are supportive. 'It takes time'. This isn't the finished product and they're happy to wait for it to be finished after they've spent money on it. I'm sure the same fanbase have the same reasoning when they think about Assassins Creed Unity.....'It's okay, it'll get better, you should review it again in a few months. In fact, every review should continuously be updated. Not every game will be released as promised, because of time constraints and such, and they need to be released and on the shelves so the devs can afford to actually finish them in a year or so. If reviewers would kindly resist giving a final score until the devs have actually finished the game a few months, or perhaps years, after it's been released that would be great. Cheers.
That was their intention from day one. They always said the game will evolve over time, with feedback from gamers driving the changes. It is an attempt at a new way of game development.
