Call of Duty, GTA, Far Cry, and more: every companion app for the hottest console games of 2014

There's nothing quite like firing up the PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo, and getting stuck into some meaty AAA video games.

As mobile is such a big thing these days, the console folk have started integrating mobile and tablet companion apps into their titles in an effort to enhance the experience when you can't be at your TV.

So if you're lucky enough to be playing the latest Grand Theft Auto, FIFA, Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, or some other huge release from 2014, you should check out the list below to see if a companion app is available.

The story is too old to be commented.

There was a story about what games of the year has taught us and I forgot to put

11. Companion apps are overrated and take more away from the game more than add to it.

I just want to play the games, not have all these other things going too. Not only that, my phone has too many apps on it as it is :) that's just me though

I ABSOLUTELY HATE companion apps...Who ever though that they were a good idea should be forced to play a game with one...
